Hi! My name is Carol Jean Juliano-Mendoza, everyone calls me Cah, I live in the Philippines. I am the owner of Human Resource Virtual Assistance Philippines (HR-VA). I am a graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2006. I am a wife and a mom of 3 kids. I started my career in 2006 right after my graduation from being a trainee for a call center company for 3 months and after that, I tried to look for a job related to my course, after a couple of months,  I was able to start my career as a Human Resource Staff. I became an HR Generalist in a manufacturing company here in the Philippines where I was able to experience all the facets of Human Resources which are Recruitment, Employment, Timekeeping, Payroll, Benefits, Performance Appraisal, Training, and Employee/Labor Relations.

In 2016, I received an offer to a leading Signage Manufacturing Company, they offered me for a Human Resource Head position since then my General experiences in Human Resources has been utilized.  Now my experiences as an HR Head is more challenging especially when it comes to managing the implementation of Company Policies, administration of investigations pertaining to employee violations, and other Management reports and projects.

 

During the Enhanced Community Quarantine last March to May of 2020, I was able to experience temporarily working from home for my current company. And from then on, I’ve realized that there is a lot of advantages when you are at home. You can work and earn at home while you’re nothing to worry about your kids, more safe and secure, don’t need to commute, and interact with a lot of people.  During those days of working at home, I started to update my profile accounts to different online job sites. Then setting up plans and schedules on when I will be able to enroll for training to a Freelancing/Virtual Assistance Course. September 2, 2020, I finally started, in this training, we had a 4 different weekly lessons such as General Virtual Assistance task, Social Media Management, and Marketing task, Simple Website Creation, Optimization and Management + Online Writing and Marketing  + SEO, Lead Generation, Basic Facebook Ads, Youtube Optimization, Basic Email Marketing and Building your Freelancing Empire. In each week we have tasks that we have to submit and part of my finished products is this website.

 

I want to work remotely or as a virtual assistant because I’ve realized that being at home there is a lot of opportunities like to see every milestone of my kids, utilize my skills and experiences, continue to help my husband in providing the needs of our family and the opportunity to contribute my abilities, knowledge, and experiences to a company. I know that all of this are possible just have the time management
